Charges may be filed against Scotts Valley pet store owners suspected of abandoning animals
SCOTTS VALLEY – The pet store owners who allegedly left dozens of rodents, fish, snails and crabs behind when they suddenly closed their Mount Hermon Road shop earlier this year could face nearly 150 counts of animal neglect.

Question by Stefanie S: Can you use Yesterday’s News Cat litter for Rabbits?
I have heard very good things about Yesterday’s news litter and am getting a rabbit in two weeks. I did notice, however, that the cat litter is not only bigger, but better priced. Can you use them interchangably because all I could notice is that the cat one is unscented.
Answer by paintedrain2I would be a little cautious, due to the fact that it’s made from recycled newspapers, and that includes ink (which could be harmful if the rabbit has a habit of nibbling on the bedding).
