Times: 12:30 – 11:45
If the thought of travelling hundreds of miles this year to get your festival fix leaves you feeling a little flat, then it might be worth knowing that you can catch some internationally acclaimed bands right on your doorstep – minus the over-inflated ticket prices.
Thanks to the Fake Festival Tour visiting the North East for the first time this May 5th, you'll be able to watch tributes to Coldplay, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kings Of Leon right on your doorstep, as well as some of the best emerging local musical talent.
Taking place at Percy Park Rugby Club in the Fake Festivals marquee, this community led event will play host to some of the finest tribute acts in the world, giving people the ultimate festival feeling, just without the beer and brolly juggling.
Fake Festivals present a licensed bar and fenced food and entertainment garden area. All are welcome.
In addition to hosting internationally acclaimed tribute bands, Tynemouth Fake Festival will also be showcasing some of the most exciting artists in the region tipped to be the stars of tomorrow, thanks to the local support band slots they offer. Confirmed so far this year are Victory Mansions, Peculiar Disco Moves, Hostage Rescue Team, Artisam and Second Day.
With Alex Zane confirming that "Fake Festivals are as good as the real thing" and previous tours selling out, people are encouraged to grab their tickets now from www.fakefestivals.co.uk or from local outlets:
