Can you tell me what this poem means?

Question by : Can you tell me what this poem means?
“A Late Walk”
When I go up through the mowing field,
The headless aftermath,
Smooth-laid like thatch with the heavy dew,
Half closes the garden path.

And when I come to the garden ground,
The whir of sober birds
Up from the tangle of withered weeds
Is sadder than any words

A tree beside the wall stands bare,
But a leaf that lingered brown,
Disturbed, I doubt not, by my thought,
Comes softly rattling down.

I end not far from my going forth
By picking the faded blue
Of the last remaining aster flower
To carry again to you.

-Robert Frost

How to ride on a bike with you dog?

Question by mj.slim: How to ride on a bike with you dog?
I have a 3 y.o Australian Shepherd (23 inches tall) & he is used to walk on heel on my left, I wanna teach him how to run next to my bike on my right. He has never tried (even once) biking so am trying to teach him on a slow speed but he always tries to walk in front of the bike or crosses my way to go to my left (when he does he is pulling). Am also afraid that he might pull me whenever he sees something interesting on the street (although he is not into hunting birds, bunnies & the like). How can I make him identify that on the left is the “walking”… Continue reading this item... | 4 Comments

Song from early-00′s Gap Commercial?

Question by sajak16: Song from early-00′s Gap Commercial?
Around 2001, there was a Gap commercial with a lady dancing to a song–”Hallelujah! It’s Summer time again! Flowers are bloomin’, the birds are singin’, sun is shinin’…”

Late-night talk-show host David Letterman had a crush on the girl, and invited her on “The Late Show” several times to dance to this song.

For the life of me, no matter what I type in (the lyrics, Gap Commercial, Letterman, etc) I cannot find the title of this song or even full lyrics. Could somebody please help me out here? Does anyone know the song or remember the commerical? Was it a song commisioned by the Gap, and thus would explain why it’s nowhere to be found on the internet?

Any help would be… Continue reading this item... | 1 Comment
