Question by una ragazza siciliana: should ppl that aren’t rich be allowed to have children?
i read this over and over, “u shouldn’t have a pet if u can’t afford to take it to the vet.”So y should low income ppl be allowed to have kids? i mean, it’s ridiculous if some1 chooses to buy an mp3 player or cell phone instead of bringing their pet to the vet, but if some1 seriously can’t afford it, @ least they’re giving them a warm place to sleep, food, and affection which is a hell of alot more than if they would ge on the streets. every1 always says “bring it to a shelter,” but honestly how many pets are adopted and how many r killed every year in a shelter?

Question by karenn: daughter has asthma need to get rid of pets please help!?
I just found out my child has asthma and I have to get rid of my cats. I have no one who can take them in and I don’t want to bring them to a “kill shelter”. Can anyone tell me where i can go for resorces regarding places like no kill shelters or such? I live in new york state

Question by Cheshire Cat: Cats in the yard and neighbor harassment?
Our neighbors cats are in our yard!!! POLICE?
My neighbor has at least seven cats and at night they all come over and use my front and back flower and vegetable garden as a litter box. I’ve talked to the neighbor about keeping the cats in and a few days ago (this was advice from the humane society) started to trap the cats and have the humane society come and get them, the guy said they are breaking the city code for having this many cats and the smell is so unbearable in the front yard, that the humane society guy said “I’d be doing exactly the same thing”
