So for my 13th birthday party I would like to ask the geusts to bring a donation to the local animal shelter. Because I love animals so so so much! But I dont really know what to put like should i put “instead of gifts please bring a donaion to the animal shelter.” ? I think that might seem a little demanding. Anyways also do you think it should be a money donation or toys and things because I looked on there website and they have a pretty specific list of things they need.

Question by carpetsharks: SIms 3 Pets question?
In Sims 3 I know you can like create-a-pet in the create-a-sim thing, when you are making a family. But if you are already playing a family, is “adopt from shelter” the only way you can obtain a new pet? Or is there a way to create a dog or cat or whatever (like a specific breed) in the town? I know you could at the pet shop in sims 2 pets but I can’t find out how on sims 3. Oh and I have the Mac version if that helps. Thanks!

Question by Annie: What shelters euthanize cats for space or other reasons?
I am moving into an apartment in a few months and I am allowed to have cats. I have been interested in adopting but would like to adopt from a “kill shelter,” one that euthanizes animals for space. I am in Massachusetts and we have mostly humane societies around. I know they do euthanize, but not for space and are not considered “kill shelters.” Where could I find a shelter that is a “kill shelter?”

Reading through some of the answers that have been posted in Yahoo Answers, I have come to the conclusion that people are very very antagonistic towards pet shop/puppy mill dogs. I see a lot of responses from people who say things like “What about all those dogs that die in shelters while you’re selfish and dumb to buy a mutt in a store.” I’d like to ask, “hey, now what about those poor puppies in pet stores?
