June 2, 2012 10 AM to 3 PM Admission: Benefiting: Haven Humane shelter animals Haven Humane Society's 4th Annual Dog-A-Thon Festival and Arts and Craft's Faire Walk for the Animals is set for June 2nd , 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. at Haven's pet walking trail. It will be an action packed day with demonstrations by Hennigan's Spinning Frisbee®K9s, sheep herding dogs, contests and doggie participating events. We took Tanner (19 weeks) to see all the other Berners in the Maifest Spring Festival Parade in Leavenworth, WA. There were Berners everywhere. Lots of people, good food and beer. Good times.

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board will hold the eleventh annual Lake Harriet Winter Kite Festival on Saturday, January 14, from Noon to 4 p.m. Kites of all shapes, sizes, colors and themes will fly over frozen Lake Harriet.
