Question by MagicSquares: Does anybody know how many dogs die from Canine Parvovirus each year?
Any statistics would be great, especially if they’re for the USA.
Best answer:
Answer by KEVINI do not know the exact number but it is way too many. That is why puppies should not go for walks or parks until they are at least 18 weeks old and have had ALL of their shots. If a puppy comes in contact with an area where a dog has pooped and had parvo, even if the poop is gone the puppy can still get parvo. This is even if the poop was there as long as a year ago. Only if the area was cleaned with bleach would it be some what safe. This information came… Continue reading this item... | 1 Comment

Question by infamousairman: (Things Fall Apart) Does anybody know what these proverbs mean?
I have a question about these proverbs from the Bible and from a book called Things Fall Apart:
“When the moon is shining the cripple becomes hungry for a walk.”
“A toad does not run in the daytime for nothing.”
“You can tell a ripe corn by its look.”
Does anyone know what these proverbs mean?
Please Help

Answer by ChrissyThe first one means that when you really see your disadvantages, thats when you really wish you didn’t have them. When the moon is shining, or when he most longs to walk, he really wishes that he didn’t have the disadvantage of being crippled.
The other two I found on wikiaswers, so I’ll tell you what they said.

Question by : Does anyone know when the year “In the Good Old Summertime” song was released?
I need to know because It’s due for part of a report.
Best answer:
Answer by Marc L1902…read on:
“In the Good Old Summer Time” is an American Tin Pan Alley song first published in 1902 with music by George Evans and lyrics by Ren Shields.
Sheilds and Evans were at first unsuccessfully trying to sell the song to one of New York’s big sheet music publishers. The publishers thought the topic of the song doomed it to be forgotten at the end of the summer season. Blanche Ring, who had helped Evans arrange the number’s piano score, was enthusiastic about it and at her urging it was added to the 1902 musical comedy… Continue reading this item...

Question by Kuro-Neko: Any one know of a Turkish Angora cattery that will, ship to Indiana that has new kittens?
I know of catteries like oaktown and azima, but they’re sites haven’t been updated. I am not getting one now, but I want to research catteries for when I get one this summer.
Don’t say “get a cat from a shelter” where do you think the others came from? I want a purebreed that is able to be shown. I want an angora because of their rarity and their beauty.
Thanks

Question by Robi: Opinions wanted on start of Story. Couldn’t fit everything. Let me know…?
Prologue
Running isn’t exactly the easiest thing to do on a full stomach, combine that with a savage pack of hounds and soldiers on your heels and it becomes near impossible.
You could try using some sort of sports product, like the ones they advertise on t.v, and outrun the hounds using the patented “Super-fast trainers of Fastness” but take it from me, that hardly ever works. Zig-zagging also comes in handy but ,unless your a Gazelle, try to avoid it. All you’ll end up achieving is zig-zagging your way into the mouths of those bloodthirsty animals. Yes, running on a full stomach is difficult but running while pregnant is another story entirely. Not only are… Continue reading this item...
